This dog was found in Dormont today. Do you know who it belongs to?
Do you know this dog? This sandy-colored beauty was found in an alley behind Dormont Public Library on Monday afternoon and was brought to the Dormont police station. The dog appears to be a Chow Chow, or a Chow Chow mix. It has no microchip and no collar, but part of a walking harness was strapped around its chest when it was found. The toenails on its front paws appeared to have been painted pink and blue. South Hills Cooperative Animal Control picked up the dog around 3 p.m. Monday. Those with information about the dog should call the Dormont police station at 412-561-8900 ext. 300 or call County Dispatch at 412-279-6911 and ask for Animal Control.
