Dormont Police Remind Residents to Pay Parking Tickets

Dormont police are warning residents to address their parking tickets. Officer James Burke said the police have had boots put on about 20 cars in the past two weeks after tickets for illegal parking violations weren’t addressed. “We want people to be compliant,” Burke said. “We want people to respond to these tickets so we don’t have to impound the vehicle.” Burke said that for each ticket that isn’t responded to, a reminder letter is sent to the vehicle owner.
