Celebrities to Visit Dormont’s Hollywood Theater
A movie event with special guests including Steelers, Penguins, actors and more will benefit the Red Cross and Hurricane Sandy victims.
A star-studded evening at Dormont’s Hollywood Theater will raise money for the Red Cross, and for victims of Hurricane Sandy who still are recovering from the storm. A special showing of the independent film “Christmas in Compton,” which opened in theaters last week, will be held at 6 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 16. “Christmas in Compton,” a comedy co-produced by Pittsburgh natives Paula Gregg and Susan Burig, is about a father-son duo and their community fighting to save their Christmas tree lot after a bad business deal. The movie stars Keith David as the father, Eric Roberts as a sleazy music executive, and Omar Gooding as the son.
