Two cars were reported stolen from streets in Brookline and Beechview, one last week and another over the weekend. The first was reported stolen from the 700 block of Shadycrest Road in Beechview, and was stolen between 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 20. The second was reportedly stolen between 4 and 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 from the 1100 block of Brookline Boulevard. In both cases, the vehicles were stolen with the keys. A number of thefts, from both homes and vehicles, were reported during the first week of November in Brookline and nearby Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Burglaries and thefts were reported from homes and vehicles in Brookline, Beechview and Banksville between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4.
