A meeting to discuss and prepare for the Brookline Boulevard reconstruction project will be held Monday, Jan. 14, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. The reconstruction project is scheduled to begin in March, and work will last about nine months. It will include landscaping and tree planting along the street, sidewalk and roadway paving and new traffic signals. Monday's meeting is geared mainly toward local business owners and professionals who will be directly affected by construction work on Brookline Boulevard. Josette Fitzibbins, Mainstreets/Elm Street Coordinator for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh will be the guest speaker.
