A Dormont man pleaded guilty in federal court Dec. 5 to a charge of violating federal child sexual exploitation laws, according to a release issued by United States Attorney David J. Hickton. Richard Stanley, 33, pleaded guilty before United States District Judge Joy Flowers Conti to possessing images of child pornography. According to the release, Stanley used a neighbor's unsecured wireless internet router between Nov. 11, 2010 and Jan. 19, 2011 to share the pornographic images on the internet. Sentencing has been scheduled for March 28, 2013, at 10 a.m. Stanley could face a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both.
