Groundhogs, Zombies and More, This Weekend at the Hollywood
There’s something for everyone on the Hollywood’s marquee this weekend.
Happy Groundhog Day! Hollywood Theater is celebrating the holiday with a double feature of Harold Ramis’s 1993 film “Groundhog Day,” featuring Bill Murray. Relive the day again and again! Or at least, just these two times. Showing Friday, Saturday and Sunday is “Certified Copy,” Abbas Kiarostami’s 2010 film featuring Juliette Binoche. Michael Cuesta’s 2011 film “Roadie,” which tells the story of a Blue Oyster Cult follower who heads home after 20 years on the road, is showing Friday only. Hollywood Theater will “raise the dead” Saturday with a Fix the Chapel event. “Night of the Living Dead” will be shown as a fundraiser to save the Evans City Cemetery Chapel, which appears in the opening scene of George Romero’s 1968 film.
