Graduation season is quickly approaching, and parents of high school seniors are already planning special parties to celebrate. Local bakeries, party stores and other businesses offer school-color cakes, signs announcing the graduation, balloons and sometimes novelties, such as a multi-serving sandwich baked into the shape of the school mascot. Eat’n Park Celebrates Penguins Home Opener with Free Smiley Cookies

Eat'n Park is giving away free Smiley Cookies today in honor of the Pittsburgh Penguins home opener at Consol Energy Center.

Eat’n Park is giving guests something to smile about Wednesday—especially if they’re wearing Pittsburgh Penguins gear. To celebrate the delayed start of the National Hockey League season, Eat’n Park is giving away free Smiley Cookies to anyone wearing Pens gear to the restaurants on Wednesdayto celebrate the home opener. Wednesday also is the first home game of the season for the 2-0 Pens. To qualify for the free black and gold Smiley Cookie, made especially for the 2013 hockey season, any form of Penguins attire is acceptable.
