Beauty and her sister, Bella, were surrendered to the Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh by their owner due to a move. They are a cute blend of Shepherd and Basset Hound, with the latter showing in their short legs and stature. They are friendly, energetic dogs, about 8 months old, weighing about 50 pounds. Despite her small statue, Beauty is a strong dog who will benefit from some obedience training classes. As you can tell from the picture, Beauty is eager to give and receive affection. She's very playful and fun to hang out with. But due to some food aggression issues, we do not think a home with small kids would be advisable for her.
