We've got some photos of yesterday's South Hills Memorial Day Parade, but we want to see yours!

People lined the streets Monday morning for the 79th annual South Hills Memorial Day Parade. The parade was dedicated to James A. Robinson of Dormont, a veteran of World War II. Lebanon, the Dormont Historical Society, Dormont Day Committee, Brookline Dance Studio, Brookline Meals on Wheels, the Brookline American Legion and many more were involved in making the parade an exciting and memorable event for the families in attendance. Local Veteran's Memorial Dedicated Sunday

A Patch blogger attended the dedication of the Mt. Lebanon Veteran's Memorial on Sunday.

The Mt. Lebanon Veteran's Memorial was dedicated Sunday evening, in one of the first ceremonies of the weekend that remembers the true meaning of Memorial Day. Patch blogger Dana Vento attended the ceremony, and recorded the events of the ceremony in photos. If you have any of your own photos of this or other local ceremonies, please share them with Patch readers by uploading them here. Memorial Day is a time to remember veterans who have sacrificed for our country. Who will you remember today? Who would you like to thank for their service?
