Pittsburgh's first and largest independent art and craft fair returns tomorrow, Dec. 8, to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The fair, now in its ninth year, will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature more than 150 vendors from the Pittsburgh region—including Dormont and Brookline—and from around the country. If ever there was a weekend to hang out in Brookline, it's this one. Starting today, there are two big events on Brookline Boulevard. The first is the Brookline Car Cruise, which will be held at the Brookline Recreation Center and Memorial Park. The event will be held from 5 p.m. until dusk, and trophies will be awarded for Best in Show. For more details, see this post in the Dormont-Brookline Patch event calendar. Also this weekend is the Brookline BreezeFest, which is Saturday, Aug. 11.
