UPDATE: Students En Route to School Left Bus on Parkway
Two young students left a school bus and walked across the Fort Pitt Bridge while on their way to school Wednesday morning.
Two Keystone Oaks School District students who left a school bus and walked across the Fort Pitt Bridge on Wednesday morning were on their way to a school outside of the district. According to the report from state police, a First Student bus was traveling eastbound on I-376 near the Grant Street exit around 8:15 a.m. when the driver pulled over because two students were acting unruly. State police said a 12-year-old student used a sharped stick he had in his backpack to poke holes into the back of several bus seats. He and a 14-year-old student then left the bus through a rear emergency door and walked westbound in the eastbound lanes across the Fort Pitt Bridge. I guess the one thing to be thankful for as things seem to be today is that the punk didn't stab another student or the bus driver. @ Tom K - I agree, the lack of respect and discipline of children today is ridiculous. Taking away their video games doesn't cut it.   more ›
