Community Bands Playing Free Concert
Four bands will take the stage Saturday afternoon at the Upper St. Clair High School auditorium.
Who can resist the stirring sound of a concert band playing a Sousa march, a light overture or the familiar tunes from movies or popular Broadway shows? Come listen to four unique community bands playing evening concert pieces, show tunes, marches and other musical favorites. The Three Rivers Community Band Festival is a free concert that will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Upper St. Clair High School auditorium. The concert will include James Gourlay and the Festival Band, the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band, the East Wind Symphonic Band and Community Band South.
