Here's your chance to appear on the big screen with Channing Tatum, Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo. The Fair Hill Project is looking for extras to shoot a scene on Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Petersen Event Center in Oakland. Sorry ladies, only men 18 years of age and older are needed. According to the Pittsburgh Film Office, pay is $60 to $100, depending on the number of hours worked. Meals will be provided. American Idol Producer Nigel Lythgoe is looking for a family run business to feature in a new reality series, but not just any business. This new show will have an unusual twist.
Wanna be on a TV reality show? Nigel Lythgoe, producer of the hit reality TV shows, "So You Think You Can Dance" and "American Idol" is casting for a new reality show about a family run business. It's no secret that family dynamics can be dramatic. But Lythgoe is taking the drama a step further by profiling a business run by a family that includes someone who's been diagnosed with a medical disorder. According to casting producer Michael Warwick, the goal of the show is to show America how one person’s “disorder” is another man’s “success.” The series will take viewers into the lives of a family that works together and supports each other running a family business. "The Amazing Race" is looking for contestants in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Oct. 11. KDKA-TV is holding a casting call for "The Amazing Race" at the upstairs banquet hall of the Rivers Casino on the North Shore. Rivers Edge members can audition from 3 to 5 p.m., and public auditions will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. "The Amazing Race" is a reality game show in which teams of two race around the world in competition with other teams. The CBS program has utilizes progressive elimination—the last team to arrive at a designated checkpoint leaves the game. The race starts in a city in the United States.
