Masked Man Robs Brookline CVS
Police said they arrested a 60-year-old Carrick man.
UPDATE: A Carrick man has been arrested in the armed robbery of prescription drugs from the Brookline CVS on Tuesday afternoon, according to Pittsburgh Police. Police said Thomas Daniels, 60, entered the CVS shortly before 5:30 p.m. wearing a ski mask and told the pharmacist he needed valium and oxycontin. He showed a revolver, but did not point it at the pharmacist. The pharmacist gave Daniels a bottle of Oxycontin and Daniels left and drove off in an Oldsmobile station wagon, police said. Witnesses called 911 with the license number and police caught Daniels a short while later in Carrick, with a handgun and the medication, accoding to police.
