Really simple solution - take your foot off the accelerator and go the speed limit and don't drive…Read More when you've been drinking.
It's really not that hard to slow down and go the speed limit. Reckless drivers should be pulled over - whether they've been drinking or not. The biggest cause of death on our roads is not drunk driving but speeding. Slow down people. If only more municipalities would try to make their roads safer by targeting speeders.

To me, this article shows you how out of line the media can be. I mean when people are arrested for…Read More something, they are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Yet the media doesn't hesitate to put a persons name and face out there, and more or less paint them as guilty. This article went one step further by not only putting there names out there, but included their addresses. That's a real shame in my opinion.

Starts with bar fights, then drug issues follow along with graffiti, break ins and rising levels of…Read More crime. Families start to reconsider living in the area and develop a "get out at all costs attitude". Eventually more marginal folks start to move in. Incidents increase. Long term residents begin to fear being out. Fear wins out. More marginal people move in as housing prices drop and sellers just want out. Is it time for community involvement in establishing neighborhood watches and the community working in concert with police to keep the streets safe? These blotters indicate what seems to be an increasing level of criminal incidents. It starts with the petty crime and it builds. Skeptical ... look at many surrounding communities that were once proud enclaves of hard working people and today are associated with the term "slum".
