It's easy to complain about the Port Authority, but I have to admit that our Potomac and Dormont stations are fairly well cared for. The ticket matrons are easy going, but never let the station get icy or messy. If we could get the T to run more frequently, I'd be more likely to give it another star.
Port Authority of Allegheny County Dormont T stops
412-442-2000
The Port Authority has four stops in Dormont, including two stations, Potomac at Broadway and Potomac Avenues and Dormont Junction, near West Liberty Ave. and McFarland Road. These stations offer bike racks, seating and are ADA accessible. Potomac has 22 park and ride spots, Dormont Junction and has 163, Stevenson along Broadway Ave. between LaSalle Ave., and Edgeville Street and Kelton at Kelton Ave. All are street level stops with street parking. It provides service between downtown Pittsburgh and other South Hills communities.

The stations are not well kept. The fair booths are rusting, the snow doesn't get cleaned regularly and the fair booth attendant at Potomac is rarely on time. And the locals use the Potomac T lot as a personal parking lot.
