NFL: Cardinals Request Interview With Todd Haley

The Upper St. Clair native is currently the offensive coordinator with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL.com is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals have requested permission to interview Todd Haley for the vacant head coaching position.

Haley is currently the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers and is an Upper St. Clair native.

"They wouldn't set up this interview unless he was a serious candidate," according to the report.

Haley worked for the Cardinals when they were beat by the Steelers in the 2009 Super Bowl.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger recently apologized to Haley for publicly expressing his disappointment in Haley's play calling during the Dallas Cowboys game.
