Mock Trial Warns Students of Drunk Driving Dangers

Keystone Oaks School DIstrict held a mock trial this week—prom week—to warn students of the dangers of impaired driving.

With the prom taking place in Pittsburgh tomorrow night, the school district held an event this week to warn students about the dangers of impaired driving.

On Monday, the Keystone Oaks Students Against Destructive Decisions organization, along with PennDOT, local police departments and the District Magistrate's office, held the district's first mock trial.

The event took students through the full legal process that follows an impaired driving arrest, from the arrest itself to jail time and a full trial, resulting in a conviction for drug possession.
