Meeting to Close Two Keystone Oaks Schools Set for Thursday Night

Keystone Oaks School Board will vote on whether to close Aiken and Myrtle elementary schools at 7:30 p.m.

Keystone Oaks School Board will hold a meeting to vote on the possible closings of Fred L. Aiken and Myrtle Avenue elementary schools at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Michael A. Callara Auditorium, Keystone Oaks High School, 1000 Kelton Ave.

In June, the board held a three-hour hearing at which time district residents were encouraged to offer public comment on the possible closing of the schools.
