KOSD Students, Staff Avoid Intense Flu Season

The Keystone Oaks School District provided tips for avoiding the flu this season.

The flu has been in the news a lot lately.

Fortunately, according to the Keystone Oaks School District website, it hasn't hit local students or school staff as hard as it's hit others in the area.

"The buildings work year-round to educate students and staff about good habits that help prevent the spread of any illnesses," said school nurse Beth Woodward, as she is quoted in the press release. "The primary emphasis is placed on washing hands often and thoroughly."
