KO Athletes Receive Honors

Four Keystone Oaks athletes received honors from the Post-Gazette.

Four students received all-section honors from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Honors went to pitcher Kiersten Badzgon, outfielder Eryn Caragein and infielder Meghan Staab for varsity softball, and to outfielder Ryan Ribeau for varsity baseball.

Students were chosen by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's scholastic sports staff, based on voting by WPIAL and local coaches.

Varsity softball coach Mark Kaminski said the Keystone Oaks students are outstanding as both students and athletes.

"This is all for them," he said. "They did all the work. I helped them along, but they did all the work."
