Four KO Students to Attend National Leadership Conference

Four Keystone Oaks students will attend a National Conference after placing well at the state-level Future Business Leaders of America conference in April.

Four Keystone Oaks High School students have placed top spots in a state competition, and will attend a national conference in the state of California later this year.

Eighteen Keystone Oaks students attended the Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference in Hershey earlier this month, and the following students received awards at the SLC Awards of Excellence Program:

  • Catrina Abbott, Word Processing 2 - 1st Place
  • Kiersten Badzgon and Morgan Leckie, Desktop Publishing Team - 1st Place
  • Emily Valley - Word Processing 2 - 2nd Place
  • Jen DeFazio and RosaMaria Cimino, Desktop Publishing Team - 3rd Place
  • Megan Farrell, Computer Applications - 6th Place
  • Arielle Smith, Computer Applications - 9th Place

As first and second-place winners, Abbott, Badzgon, Leckie and Valley are National Conference Qualifiers. The Keystone Oaks School Board has approved the group to attend the National Conference in California state.
