Community Coffee With KO Superintendent Tuesday

Even if you don't have kids in the school district, all school district residents are invited to attend the community coffees.

Keystone Oaks Superintendent William Stropkaj will hold the next Community Coffee at Fred L. Aiken Elementary School in Green Tree tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 2.

The first Community Coffee was held at Dormont Elementary on Sept. 25. About eight parents attended—which district Public Relation Director Jim Cromie said is fantastic—but the district wants to encourage other community members to come, too, even if they don't have children in the school district.

"What we’re hoping to do is get some seniors out and some people living in district without children in school," Cromie said. "We’re glad to have the parents' perspective but we’d also like to have a cross section of interests represented."
