Ceremony Honors KO Teachers, Staff

A ceremony held in April recognized the years of service many Keystone Oaks staff members have spent in the district.

A ceremony held at the April meeting of the Keystone Oaks School Board recognized the teachers, administration and staff who have been with the district for a significant number of years.

Some teachers have been with Keystone Oaks for five years, while others have been with the district for 35. Regardless of the number, acting Superintendent Kathy Foster said, each staff member should be recognized for the influence they have had in the district.

"This type of a recognition ceremony gives the opportunity to the administration and the school board to recognize you for what you’ve done, and say 'thank you' in public forum," Foster said. "I'm honored and proud to be part of this type of ceremony."
