Voters in Tuesday's primary will choose candidates who will face-off in the November general election for a seat on the bench of Commonwealth Court and another on Superior Court.
PENNSYLVANIA COMMONWEALTH COURT
Republican candidates include:

- Anne E. Covey, an attorney and the first female member of the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, of New Hope, Bucks County.
- Paul P. Panepinto, a Common Pleas Court judge and former attorney, of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County
Democrat candidates include:
- Barbara Behrend Ernsberger, an attorney and commissioner with the Pittsburgh Planning Department, of Shadyside
- Kathryn Boockvar, an attorney and arbitrator, of Doylestown, Bucks County

PENNSYLVANIA SUPERIOR COURT
Republican candidates include:
- Victor P. Stabile, an attorney and former litigator in the state Attorney General's office, of Carlisle, Cumberland County
- Paula A. Patrick, a Common Pleas Court judge and former attorney, of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County
Democrat candidates include:
- David N. Wecht, a Common Pleas Court judge, a law professor and former Allegheny County Register of Wills and Orphan's Court Clerk, of Squirrel Hil
