New Features on Dormont Borough Website

Have you seen the changes to the borough's website?

website is changing, and borough manager Jeff Naftal said he hopes the changes will make it easier for residents to find the information they need.

Naftal has added two sections right to the homepage: Breaking News and Community Events. With that information on the homepage, users should be able to quickly find the day's most important information, he said.

"With better organization, the site is easier to navigate and it becomes more user-friendly," Naftal said. "That's the goal. We want people to really be able to use the site."

Internal site changes are being made, too. The list of tabs at the top of the page is now in alphabetical order, and Naftal said he is beginning to update and organize the information within those tabs.

The "Administration" tab, for example, now includes more subheads that link to specific borough information.

Naftal said he has been updating one section of the site at a time, and plans to continually maintain the site. He said some features, such as registering for events or paying bills online, are not available yet, but could be included on the site in the future.
