Listen In: Dormont Meeting Audio Recordings Now Available

Audio recordings of Dormont Council meetings are now available on the borough's website.

Dormont Borough has a new way for residents to hear what's happening in their community.

Starting with the June 2013 council meeting, the borough is now providing audio recordings of all public council meetings on the borough website, in the "Council Meetings - Minutes and Agendas" section under the "Your Government" tab.

At the July 1 meeting, borough manager Jeff Naftal said that the written minutes are the legal record of the meeting, but that making the audio recordings of the meeting available will add another level of transparency to borough government.

The written minutes of each council meeting, as well as the agendas for each council meeting, are available on the borough website.
