Ira Weiss attorney Lisa Colautti said school officials are given the opportunity to appoint a new solicitor each election season, and that solicitors must be reappointed annually according to school codes. The law firm offered its resignation to the district for consideration, and the school board accepted it, she said.

“It has been a pleasure to work in the school district,” Colautti said.
