How Dormont, Brookline's Congressman Voted on Bill Limiting NSA's Surveillance

The bill failed to pass in the U.S. House on Wednesday.

U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Forest Hills), who represents Dormont and Brookline, was among the slight minority voting for legislation that would limit National Security Agency's data collection.

If it had passed, the bill would have blocked the NSA from collecting vast amounts of phone records, which has been under controversy since Edward Snowden leaked secret documents describing the surveillance operations.
The final vote was 205-217. Click here to see how other lawmakers voted on Wednesday.
