Dormont Storm Water Meeting Today

Dormont Borough will hold a public meeting today, Monday, March 18, to discuss storm water drainage issues along Athens Alley and surrounding streets.

Dormont Borough will host a public meeting today, Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at Dormont Municipal Center to discuss storm water drainage issues along Athens Alley and surrounding streets.

Efforts to address those issues, and how that will affect residents and businesses in the area, also will be discussed.

The borough plans to enhance drainage in the area of Texas Avenue and Annex Avenue. The Borough’s Engineer has analyzed the issues and plans to share potential solutions for stormwater infrastructure improvements, including green infrastructure, at this meeting.
