Vehicles Damaged on Bellaire, Berkshire Avenues

Pittsburgh Police Zone 6 Crime Update, July 8 to July 14.

Cars on two Brookline streets were reported damaged late last week.

The windshield of a car parked in the 700 block of Bellaire Avenue was broken overnight on July 11, and another was reported damaged while it was parked near Stebbins and Berkshire avenues on July 12 between 8 a.m. and 4:20 p.m.

Several reports of damage to vehicles in Beechview were reported during the same timeframe:

  • A vehicle was reported damaged in the 800 block of Coast Avenue on July 12 at 9:40 p.m.
  • A woman told police someone put black paint on his vehicle while it was parked in the 1300 block of Alton Street between 7 p.m. on July 12 and 2:25 p.m. on July 13.
  • Eggs were broken on a vehicle parked at Sebring Avenue and Alton Street between July 11 and July 13.

Theft

  • Someone stole two packages left at a home in the 2000 block of Woodward Avenue in Brookline on July 11 between 11:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.
  • Rings were stolen from a home in the 1500 block of Woodbourne Avenue in Brookline between 5:30 p.m. on July 8 and 5 a.m. on July 9.
  • Solar lights were stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Bellaire Place in Brookline between midnight and 8 a.m. on July 11.

Arrests

  • Robert Campagna of Brookline was arrested on Dawn Avenue in Beechview on July 11 for possession with the intent to deliver heroin.
  • David Wrightman of Brookline was arrested for retail theft and possession of heroin in the 500 block of Brookline Boulevard on July 13.
  • Ann Michelle Smith of Pittsburgh was arrested for DUI at Banksville Road and Potomac Avenue in Banksville on July 14.
  • Susan Menzer of Beechview was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on the 2500 block of Banksville Road in Banksville on July 14.
