Five people—two adult individuals and one adult with two children—received aid from the American Red Cross Southwestern Pennsylvania Region after the fire.

Red Cross communications officer Lauren Chapman said people from two of the affected apartment units are being housed by the Red Cross, and those from the third found housing elsewhere.

The Red Cross also provided food and clothes. Chapman said she did not know of any local funds or collections set up to help the people affected.
