Two Arrested for Beechview Drug Deals

A man and woman were arrested by Pittsburgh police and face various drug-related charges.

A man and woman were arrested in Beechview on Wednesday for various drug-related crimes.

Pittsburgh police narcotics detectives served a search warrant on a car and house at 1657 Methyl Street, where they arrested Charles Lanier Robinson, 30, and Shanayia Lee King, 22, both of Beechview.

Police seized 164 stamp bags of heroin from the home, according to the report.

Robinson and King both were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy. Robinson also was charged with criminal use of communication.
