Thefts Reported in Brookline

Brookline, Beechview police blotter, Sept. 17 to Sept. 23.

Several more cases of theft in Brookline were reported to Pittsburgh police between Sept. 18 and Sept. 22.

  • A bike was stolen from a home in the 700 block of Fordham Street between midnight on Sept. 19 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 20.
  • Prescription medication was stolen from a home in the 1200 block of Brookline Boulevard between 2 p.m. on Sept. 21 and midnight on Sept. 22.
  • Money and an ID were stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Milan Avenue in Brookline between noon and 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 22.
  • Scrap metal was stolen from the yard of a home in the 2200 block of Lynnbrook Avenue at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 18.

Burglary

  • A lock box was stolen from a home in the 300 block of LaMarido Street in Brookline on Sept. 22 between 7 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. The victim told police that the suspect entered the home by forcing open a rear window.

Theft from Vehicle

  • The license plate was stolen from a car parked in the 2500 block of West Liberty Avenue in Beechview between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 12:10 a.m. on Sept. 21.

Arrests

  • Richard of Beechview was arrested by Narcotics Detectives for possession with the intent to deliver marijuana near Hampshire Avenue and Westfield Street in Beechview on Sept. 20.
  • James Nardozi of Dormont was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1500 block of Beechview Avenue in Beechview on Sept. 22.
  • An underage man from Beechview was arrested for attempting to assault a police officer and underage drinking in the 1400 block of Fallowfield Avenue in Beechview on Sept. 21.
  • Marva Terrell of Wilkinsburg was arrested for DUI in the 1400 block of Banksville Road in Banksville on Sept. 22.
  • Carolyn Gilmore of North Carolina was arrested by Vice Detectives for prostitution in the 1100 block of Banksville Road in Banksville on Sept. 21.
  • Crystal Stewart of Florida was arrested by Vice Detectives for prostitution in the 1100 block of Banksville Road in Banksville on Sept. 21.
