A Mt. Lebanon man was arrested Feb. 28 after he allegedly walked into a stranger's house uninvited by mistake.
Dormont police responded to a Wisconsin Avenue home when a woman called to report that she had been sleeping, and woke up to find her dogs barking at a man—later identified as Christopher Miranda, 35—standing inside her front door.
The woman told police she called 911 after she asked the man's name, and he refused to tell her.
Police said Miranda had a strong smell of alcoholic beverage on his person when they arrived, and had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Miranda told police he was trying to go to a friend's house, and had entered the wrong house by mistake.
Police cited Miranda for public drunkenness.
