A drug arrest on Thursday led Pittsburgh police to find a number of illegal drugs and other items.
Police responded to the 1300 block of Westfield Street in Beechview just before 6 p.m. on Jan. 8 for a report of possible drug activity inside a red truck parked in that block, according to the police report.
After an investigation, police arrested Edward Hawks, 43, of Beechview. Police also seized more than 122 illegal pills, $1,791 in cash and a cell phone.
Hawks was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail and later released.
