Pittsburgh Police Search for Theft Suspects in Brookline

Pittsburgh police are searching for three people who were seen stealing from a vehicle in Brookline, then dumping stolen items in the area as they ran away from the scene.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Berkshire Avenue on May 30 at 2:50 a.m. for a report of three people—two females and a male—breaking into a car.

According to the police report, the officer saw the suspects running through a yard toward Chelton Way, throwing items from several cars behind them.

One female had brown hair and was wearing a red shirt. The male was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts. A description of the second female was not available.

The suspects stole items from a number of vehicles, including money, DVDs, a camera, clothing, GPS units, a cell phone and power cords.
