Pittsburgh Police Make Drug Arrest in Beechview

Police responded to an assault call, and found drugs in the suspect's possession.

Pittsburgh police responding to a report of an assault at a Beechview home on Saturday made a drug arrest.

Six officers were called to a home in the 2400 block of Vodeli Street at 4:51 p.m. on March 3 for a dispute happening inside the home. Five Ziploc sandwich bags of marijuana, a syringe and a digital scale were found inside the home.

Beau Chermer, 21, of Beechview, was arrested and charged with simple assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled dubstance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chermer was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
