McCandless Man Arrested for Public Urination

Dormont police blotter, May 25 to June 1

A McCandless Township man was arrested by police May 26 for public urination.

Daniel Critics, 23, of Stevens Drive in McCandless Township, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. after he reportedly urinated outside, next to the in the 3100 block of West Liberty Avenue.

Critics was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

May 25

  • Police responded to the 2900 block of West Liberty Avenue at 9:35 p.m. near Little Caesars Pizza for a report of a woman slumped over the wheel of a parked vehicle. According to the police report, a number of controlled substances and prescription pills were found in the car. The woman, identified as Ashlee Kara, 29, of Dormont, was taken to St. Clair Hospital to be treated for high intoxication levels. She was charged with misbranding of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and public drunkenness.

May 28

  • Police responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of CoGos on Potomac Avenue at 4:03 a.m. Mara Dehler, 22, of Green Tree, was arrested for public intoxication.

May 28

  • Police responded to at 4:10 p.m. for a report that a juvenile male had threated to punch both a lifeguard and the pool manager, then dared the lifeguard to fight him in the parking lot. The boy fled before police arrived. Police searched the area, but did not find him.

The police also responded to a number of noise disturbances, medical assistance calls and parking complaints that did not result in arrests or charges.
