Man Arrested Twice After Dormont Pool Incident

Public intoxication arrests at Dormont Pool were followed a few hours later by a fight.

A man was arrested twice after an incident at at the end of June.

responded to the pool around 3:30 p.m. June 29 for a report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance.

At the scene, police spoke with Rusty Cook, 30, of Kansas, as well as 32-year-old Kristen Globicki of Bridgeville and 22-year-old Cole Baker, who has a Colorado address. All appeared visibly intoxicated, according to the police report.

Cook and Globicki were both arrested after they began yelling and swearing at officers, police said. They each were charged with public intoxication and were released to a sober adult later that evening.

But it didn’t end there.

Officer George Dailey responded to the parking lot of the at 5:15 p.m. for a report of a fight. There they found Cook and Baker, both outside their vehicles and bleeding, according to the police report.

Cook and Baker both were arrested. Each was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
