Items Stolen, Recovered in Brookline Remain Unclaimed

Pittsburgh police are looking for the owners of several recovered stolen items.

After Pittsburgh police arrested a man in Brookline for breaking into cars, they recovered a number of items the man had stolen.

But many of those items still haven't made their ways back to their rightful owners.

On June 29, Pittsburgh police responded to Berkshire Avenue in Brookline after several residents called 911 to report that they saw a man—later identified as 26-year-old Michael Evan Krizan—trying to get inside cars parked on the street and in driveways.

According to Zone 6 detectives, Krizan told police he had stolen from several cars on Berkshire Avenue that night before he was caught.
