Hearing for Robbery, Burglary Suspect Continued

Jordan Clemons, 22, is also a person of interest in the death of Karrisa Kunco.

The preliminary hearing was continued Wednesday morning for a former Canonsburg who is also a person of interest in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend.

Jordan Clemons, 22, had been scheduled to appear in Central Court in Washington, but the hearing has been continued to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 1, the Washington County District Attorney’s Office confirmed.

Those charges stem from an apparent break in at a Tannehill Street home Jan 8. He is currently housed in Washington County Jail on $250,000 straight bond related to those charged.

However, Clemons is still scheduled to appear in Central Court Jan. 25 on additional escape and flight to avoid apprehension charges. Those charges also stem from the Tannehill incident. A bond of $250,000 had been set for these charges, as well.

State police have said Clemons is a person of interest in the death of a Baldwin woman who was found dead off Sabo Road near Westland hours after she was reported missing.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco ruled the —Clemons’ ex-girlfriend—as a homicide.

No charges related to her death have yet been filed.
