Handgun Reported Stolen From Brookline Home

Pittsburgh Police Zone 6 Crime Update, July 22 to July 28.

A handgun was reportedly stolen during a burglary last week at a Brookline home.

A man told Pittsburgh police that someone forced open the front door of his home in the 2100 block of Pioneer Avenue on July 22 and stole a handgun before fleeing.

The burglary happened during the day, sometime between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

  • Someone stole a bottle of pop from a store in the 500 block of Brookline Boulevard in Brookline on July 23 at 7:15 a.m.
  • Clothing was stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Fallowfield Avenue in Beechview on July 27 between midnight and 6 p.m.
  • A bag was stolen in the 3100 block of Banksville Road in Banksville on July 23 at 11:30 p.m.
  • Artifacts were stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Brookline Boulevard in Brookline between July 23 and July 26.

Stolen Vehicle

  • A vehicle was stolen without the keys from the 2400 block of Glenarm Avenue in Brookline between 8 p.m. on July 22 and 1:30 a.m. on July 23.

Arrests

  • Sean Palashoff of Pittsburgh was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1100 block of Hampshire Avenue in Beechview on July 24.
  • Colleen Reed of Brookline was arrested for possession of heroin at Pioneer and Berwin avenues in Brookline on July 22.
  • David Moltz of the Hill District was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Glenarm and Rossmore avenues in Brookline on July 28.
  • Benjamin Clapperton of Ambridge was arrested for possession of heroin in the 900 block of Brookline Boulevard in Brookline on July 25.
