That scares me. I don't think I will be visiting there after dark in the future.

The Vasta has been a nuisance bar for a while now. I quit going to Toms Diner after a certain time because I didn't feel like dealing with the thug wannabes from the Vasta.

Someone I know stopped in to Toms before this all happened and when it broke out, saw some woman get punched in the face by her boyfriend. Is this the kind of people Tom wants in his bar? They need to up the security. Too many incidents happen there. I always see cops there from my apartment.

The Vasta should have been closed years ago.

As an employee of the Vasta for over a decade I can say it's been wonderful working for a family that struggled for years to build a good business. No business owner in there right mind would want trash like that in there building. They have done things for years to keep lowlifes out of their establishment and will continue working towards a better clientell. As for security,it has been up'ed previous to this incident.I'm sure everyone would know that Tom or his family does not condone or agree with any of the patrons actions on Sunday morning. They struggle with the Diner as well because people from ALL local bars that can't control themselves under the influence of alcohol frequent there.Tom has never asked for that kind of business,he's worked hard for his family and employees to have a safe place to go to work. These problems never occured until Senior Frogs opened down the street several years ago,in my opinion!I love my job there.I don't feel it's anywhere near a nuisence bar and we will continue to make sure that it will be a safe fun place for all to come and enjoy themselves!!!!

I have been going to the Vasta for approx 13 years. I, myself, have never had anyone threaten or assault me. The people who seem to get into fights, etc are usually intoxicated and would behave in a dangerous manner no matter what bar they are at. I have seen their security in action. They try to avoid confrontations before they start. Even though the incident happened inside the bar, security successfully was able to get them outside, and that's where most of the incident happened. I do not feel, myself, that the Vasta is a dangerous place to go, and I will continue to go there. I always have a good time.
