Family Escapes Brookline House Fire

The fire broke out early Friday morning.

A Brookline family escaped their burning home safely after a fire started around 1:30 a.m. Friday, according to a report by WPXI.

According to the report, the fire started in the kitchen of the Bay Ridge Avenue home, which has minor damage.

American Red Cross assisted two adults and an infant with food, clothing and shelter. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
