DUI Arrests After Crash Near Dormont Plaza

Dormont blotter Oct. 19 to Oct. 26.

A crash that closed part of West Liberty Avenue near Dormont Plaza on Oct. 19 resulted in a DUI arrest, Dormont police said Friday.

Erika Stull, 31, of the North Hills, was driving north on West Liberty Avenue near Dormont Plaza just before 7:30 p.m. when police said she was involved in a three-car accident.

Police said Stull failed a sobriety field test, and was taken to St. Clair Hospital for bloodwork. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

One person was injured in the crash. A man who had been in another vehicle was taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh for a back injury.

Oct. 20

  • Equipment was reported stolen from a garage at the back of a property in the 1100 block of Illinois Avenue at 12:58 p.m. Police are investigating the incident.

Oct. 21

  • Police responded to R Bar on West Liberty Avenue at 2:25 a.m. for a report of a woman refusing to leave the bar at closing time. Police stopped the woman outside of the bar and identified her as Jennifer Toll, 32, of Dormont. Toll was charged with disorderly conduct.

Oct. 24

  • A bar tender at Vasta told police that the previous night, a patron left the bar without paying a $23 bar tab. The patron was identified as Aaron Dunlap, 38, of Mt. Lebanon, and was issued a citation for theft of service.
