Cars Stolen in Brookline, Nearby Neighborhoods

Some cars were stolen with the keys—some without—and one was found after a car accident.

Three cars were reported stolen in the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Brookline, Beechview and Banksville during the first few days of November—some with the keys, and some without.

The first was reported stolen on Nov. 6 from the 1400 block of Banksville Road. The vehicle owner told Pittsburgh police it was stolen with the keys, between noon and 5 p.m.

A few days later, on Nov. 9, a woman reported that her car was stolen when she left it unattended and running in the 800 block of Sebring Avenue in Beechview. Police recovered the vehicle after it was involved in an accident on Route 51. Information regarding possible arrests in this case was not immediately available.

A third vehicle was stolen from the 1900 block of Seton Street in Brookline, this time without the keys, between 11 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 10.
