Aggravated Assault

A man reported on May 24 that two people he knew assaulted him with a metal bar at Berwin and Pioneer avenues.   

Calif Mitchell, of Brookline, was arrested on May 27 on suspicion of threatening his neighbor with a knife in the 1000 block of Creedmore Ave.

Theft

A woman reported on May 26 that someone stole an animal trap from her yard in the 2000 block of Altmar Street.

A person in the 2200 block of Whited Street reported on May 23 that someone stole a check and cashed it.

Theft from vehicle

A woman in the 1500 block of Berkshire Avenue reported on May 23 that someone stole her purse from her unlocked car. 

A woman in the 700 block of Brookline Boulevard reported on May 26 that someone stole her purse from her unlocked vehicle.

A man in the 1300 block of Brookline Boulevard reported on May 21 that someone stole his debit card from his unlocked vehicle.

Criminal Mischief

A person in the 2100 block of Edgebrook Avenue reported May 26 that someone slashed a vehicle tire.

Arrests

A woman was arrested on May 24 on suspicion of disorderly conduct for domestic dispute at Fernhill Avenue and Bellbrook Street.

Robert Sharo, of Bethel Park, was arrested May 26 on suspicion of marijuana possession at Dunster Street and Abstract Avenue.

A man was arrested May 27 on suspicion of domestic violence in the 700 block of Brookline Boulevard. 

A woman was arrested in the 900 block of Brookline Boulevard on May 28 on suspicion of domestic violence.
