Brookline Police Blotter: June 27 – July 3

A roundup of crimes reported in Brookline.


A woman reported Thursday that someone stole a knife set from her home in the 900 block of Brookline Avenue. 

A person reported Saturday that someone stole a basket full of goods from a store in the 500 block of Brookline Boulevard. 



Ronald Thomas was arrested Friday in the 1900 block of Pioneer Avenue on suspicion of stealing a vehicle. 

Alex Payer and Eric McCullough, both of Brookline, were arrested on a retail theft warrant Thursday in the 1900 block of Plainview Avenue. 

Jennifer Diperna of Brookline was arrested Sunday in the 900 block of Woodbourne Avenue on suspicion of reckless driving and several other related charges. 

George Assenat of Carrick was arrested Thursday on suspicion of attempting to steal copper pipes from a vacant residence in the 600 block of Woodbourne Avenue.

Greg Purdue of Westwood was arrested Sunday at the intersection of Brookline Boulevard and Queensboro Avenue on suspicion of possession of crack cocaine. 

A woman was arrested on a domestic violence warrant Tuesday in the 600 block of Bellaire Avenue. 

Michelle Stock of Pittsburgh was arrested Wednesday in the 900 block of Brookline Boulevard on suspicion of unauthorized use of a vehicle, theft, and receiving stolen property. 

Victor Moore was arrested Friday on Glenarm Avenue and Brookline Boulevard on an outstanding warrant. 

Mark Samuels, of North Braddock, and Lamont Williams were arrested in the 2100 block of Whited Street June 27 on suspicion of assault.
